These terms govern your use of dravya4u.com and any order you place on it. By placing an order you accept them. Please read them alongside our Cancellation & Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of the same agreement.

1. Who you are contracting with

Dravya sells into more than one country, and the seller is not the same company in each. Which company you contract with, and whose law governs it, follows the delivery region you choose at checkout — not where you happen to be browsing from.

“You” means the person placing the order. We are not yet selling for delivery in the United Kingdom: prices may be shown, but checkout will decline the order.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter a contract where you live. The details you give us — particularly the delivery address, postal code and phone number — must be accurate and yours to give.

3. Kits, contents and substitutions

Each kit page lists what the kit contains, what you should arrange yourself, notes by sampradāya, and where substitutions apply. Practice differs by sampradāya and by what local custom and regulation permit, so the same ceremony is not served by an identical kit everywhere.

Natural materials vary. Colour, size and appearance may differ from the photographs, and we may substitute an item of equal or better quality where the listed one is unavailable. Where a substitution is region-specific it is stated on the kit page before you buy.

Some materials cannot lawfully be imported into every country. Where that applies, the kit page says so before you buy and the kit ships without that item or with a permitted substitute.

Kits are religious and ceremonial materials. They are not food, medicine or cosmetics, and nothing on this site is a claim about the spiritual or ritual efficacy of any item.

4. Prices and tax

Prices are shown in the currency of your delivery region, and delivery is included. The price you pay is the price shown when you check out: we add nothing at the payment step.

Customs duties and import taxes, where any apply to a cross-border shipment, are included in the price shown — you will not be asked for anything further on delivery. We may change prices at any time, but never for an order already placed.

If a kit is listed at a manifestly incorrect price — a decimal point in the wrong place — we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than supply at that price. We will tell you before doing so.

5. How an order is made

Adding a kit to your cart is not an order. Your order is an offer to buy, which we accept when your payment is confirmed and we show you an order confirmation page carrying your order number. Keep the link to that page: it is your receipt. Until we accept, no contract exists, and we may decline an order — for example where a kit cannot be delivered to your postal code, or where we cannot verify the details given.

6. Payment

We never receive or store your card, UPI or bank credentials. They are entered on the payment provider’s own form — see our Privacy Policy. Your order is confirmed only once that provider has confirmed the payment to us; a debit shown by your bank before that is not a confirmed order, and is released automatically if it never completes.

7. Delivery

Kits ship from regional hubs and are timed to arrive two to four days before the ceremony date you give us. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees, and we are not responsible for delays caused by the courier, customs, weather, strikes, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Someone must be available to receive the parcel at the address given. Where a delivery fails because nobody was available or the address was wrong, redelivery may be chargeable.

8. Cancellation and refunds

Set out in full in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: free cancellation any time before dispatch; and if a kit arrives damaged, incomplete or wrong, tell us within 48 hours and we will replace or refund it. That is offered in both regions and is in addition to, not instead of, any statutory right you have.

9. Using this site

The text, photographs, kit descriptions and design of dravya4u.com are ours or our licensors’ and may not be copied or reused commercially without written permission. You agree not to interfere with the site, to attempt to access parts of it you are not authorised to reach, to scrape it at scale, or to submit false orders or details.

10. Liability

Where we are at fault, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Governing law and disputes

Please write to us first, at dravya@dharmaposhanam.in. Most problems are a wrong item or a late parcel and are settled the same week.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the version in force for your order is the one published when you placed it. The current version is always at dravya4u.com/terms, with its date at the top of this page.

13. Complaints and grievances

Our Grievance Officer is BR Kartika, reachable at dravya@dharmaposhanam.in. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month. For orders delivered in India this is the officer required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020; the same person answers complaints about orders delivered in the United States.
